Yes, by using RentEase's "Single Payment" feature, you can make one-off payments for initial costs, renewal fees, or a specific single month's rent.
When making this type of payment, please be sure to create a "RentEase Single Payment Certificate" within the app.
(Please note that creating a "RentEase Lease Agreement" will set up a monthly automatic subscription (recurring payment).)
What You'll Need
Preparing the following three items in advance will make the process smoother.
1. Identity Verification Document (one of the following)
- My Number Card (with photo)
- Driver's License
- Passport
- Residence Card
２．Credit Card (meeting the following conditions)
- VISA, Mastercard, JCB, or American Express.
- Must be in the same name as the app applicant.
- Must have a credit limit sufficient to cover the total payment amount (cost + 5.5% service fee, tax included).
３．Document Showing the Amount and Payee Information
- Please prepare an invoice for initial costs/renewal fees, a lease agreement, or another document that clearly shows the exact payment amount and the bank account information of the recipient.
Payment Steps
1. Download the App & Complete Identity Verification
Search for "RentEase" on the App Store or Google Play and download the app. Follow the on-screen instructions to create an account and complete the identity verification process.
2. [Important] Create a "RentEase Single Payment Certificate"
From the in-app home screen, please select the option to "Create a RentEase Single Payment Certificate."
3. Enter the Required Information
Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the following information:
- Payment Amount: The exact amount you are paying this time, such as initial costs or renewal fees.
- Property Information: Property name, address, unit number, etc.
- Recipient's Bank Information: The bank account details of the real estate company or landlord.
- Lessor and Lessee Information
Please be careful, as the transfer cannot be completed if the recipient's bank information is incorrect. Double-check the information against your invoice or other documents.
4. Register Your Credit Card & Make the Payment
After confirming the entered details, register the credit card you wish to use and complete the payment. Once the payment is complete, RentEase will transfer the funds to the bank account of the real estate company or landlord. The transfer schedule depends on the payment date:
- For payments completed between the 1st and 9:00 AM on the 14th of the month: The transfer will be made on the 25th of the same month.
- For payments completed from 9:00 AM on the 15th to the end of the month: The transfer will be made on the 25th of the following month.
This completes the one-time payment. Since this is a "Single Payment," you do not need to perform any procedure to stop a subscription afterward.
