Before using RentEase, you will need to contact your current management company or landlord and inform them of the change in payment method. The procedure varies depending on your current payment method, so please follow the steps below.

To ensure smooth rent payments, RentEase has set the following dates for credit card payments and rent transfers to your management company:
At RentEase, the first credit card transaction date and rent transfer date to your property management company differ depending on when you complete your payment setup. Lets look at the two scenarios in detail below.
The First settlement date
On this day, the rent equivalent amount will be deducted from your credit card. Even if the payment date is a weekend or public holiday, the process will be processed as usual.
25th of the current month
RentEase will transfer the rent to the management company or landlord on the 25th of this month. If the transfer date is a weekend or a public holiday, the transfer will be made on the business day after the weekend or holidays.
If payment procedures are completed between 9:00am on the 1st to 14th of this month, payment and transfer will be made within the current month. Please be careful not to pay double rent for the current month to a management company or other company.
Please be aware of the following points when applying for the RentEase service. If any of these apply, a payment error may occur, and the transfer to the management company will not be made. Please check your credit cards available balance and expiration date before applying.

If a payment error is displayed due to insufficient balance or other reasons, the transfer to the management company will not be made. Please check here for the procedure to follow in such cases.
How to handle payment errorsWith RentEase, rent payments will be automatically processed by credit card every month after application. To ensure a smooth experience with our service, please pay attention to the following points:

Please enter basic information such as the applicants name, date of birth, and contact details.
2. Identity Verification
Prepare a valid form of identification (drivers license, passport, residence card, etc.) and follow the instructions in the app to take a selfie with your ID.
The applicant must be the same as the credit cardholder.
Credit cards under a different name from the applicant cannot be registered.
Individuals other than the corporate representative can also register. However, if using a corporate card, the application must be made by the corporate cardholder.

【How to create a rental agreement using Rentease】
To maintain the security and integrity of our service, we require online identity verification for all RentEase applicants.
1. Open the contract creation screen
Open the RentEase rental contract creation screen from the "Contract List" in the app.
2. Enter the necessary information.
Payment amount for rent, initial fees, renewal fees, etc.
Property information such as property name, address, room number, etc.
Bank transfer information for rent, initial fees, renewal fees, etc.

The "RentEase Rental Agreement" created and displayed by this feature is for managing rental information within the app and does not constitute a new rental contract.
This feature allows you to register information for an existing or upcoming rental contract.
The registered information is used solely to verify the transfer destination and will not be used for any other purpose.
Please refer to the official rental agreement issued by the real estate company or landlord.

And finally, set up the rent payment information.
1. Open the credit card registration screen
From "Create Subscription" in the RentEase Rental Agreement, register your credit card details for payment.
2. Enter your credit card information.
VISA and MasterCard are supported (JCB, AMEX, and UNION are scheduled to be supported by the end of 2025).
Only credit cards in the same name as the app applicant can be used.
3. Confirm your payment
Once your card information is registered, payment for rent and initial fees will be processed immediately.
The transfer to the property management company or landlord will be made at a later date.
The name of the remitter must be the same as the tenant’s name registered on the rental contract.
If using a corporate card, the applicant must be the corporate cardholder.
※ If the remitter’s name does not match the tenant’s name, the property management company or landlord may not be able to confirm the payment.
