To manage rental agreements in RentEase, you need to enter tenant information. Please refer to your actual rental contract and ensure all details are entered accurately. Follow the steps below to complete the setup.
Setup Instructions
1. Select the Landlord and Enter Their Name
- For Individuals: Enter the landlord's name and phonetic reading (Furigana) as stated in the rental contract.
- For Companies: Enter the company name, phonetic reading (Furigana), representative's name, and their phonetic reading as listed in the rental contract.
2. Input the Address
- Postal Code (Required)：Enter a 7-digit half-width number (e.g., 1000001).
※ After inputting, the prefecture, city, and district will be auto-filled. Please verify the details. - Street Address (Required): Enter the remaining address details (e.g., 1-2-3).
- Phone Number (Optional): Enter without hyphens.
- Contact Person (Optional, for Corporations Only): If there is a designated contact person, enter their name.
3. Review Your Input and Tap "Next"
Before proceeding, ensure all entered information is correct. Then, tap "Next" to continue
Explanation of Each Field and Input Method
When entering information, please refer to the Lessor Information section in your rental agreement to ensure accuracy.
Lessor Information
Please select the appropriate type of lessor from the options below:
- Individual: Select this option if the property is rented out under an individual's name.
- Corporate: Select this option if the property is rented out under a company's name.
Lessor / Company Name
Next, enter the lessor's name as follows.
【If you selected "Individual"】
Enter the lessor's name and its phonetic reading (Furigana) exactly as stated in the lease agreement.
【If you selected "Corporate"】
Enter the company name and its phonetic reading (Furigana) as stated in the lease agreement. Additionally, for corporate lessors, you must also enter the representative’s name and its phonetic reading.
Postal Code, Prefecture, City / Ward
Enter the 7-digit postal code as stated in the lease agreement, using half-width numbers. Then, tap "Auto-fill Address." The prefecture and city/ward will be automatically entered.

Next, please enter the street address as stated in the lease agreement.

Finally, for a landline, enter the 10-digit phone number including the area code. For a mobile phone, enter the 10-digit phone number without the leading zero
