How to change the payment amount.

At RentEase, you can change your payment amount within the app until 9:00 a.m. on the 14th of each month.Please follow the steps below to make changes. However, after the initial payment or a payment made through newly registered credit card information, you will not be able to change the payment amount until after 9:00 a.m. on the 15th of the following month.
If you wish to make changes, please do so after 9:00 a.m. on the 15th.

Change Procedure

  1. Log in to the app.
  2. On the home screen, tap the RentEase Lease Agreement you want to update.
  3. Tap Contract Details.
  4. Tap the Edit button next to the payment amount to make changes.
    ※Note: If a payment was made after registering a new credit card, the payment amount cannot be changed until after 9:00 a.m. on the 15th of the following month. Please make any changes after this time.
  5. Confirm the updated amount, and tap Confirm to complete the process.

Verify the changed amount of rent after making changes.

Timing of Changes

If the payment amount is changed between the 1st and 9:00 a.m. on the 14th

→ The new amount will be reflected in the payment to the property management company on the 25th of the same month.
Example: Change made on June 10 → Reflected in the June 25 transfer.

If the payment amount is changed between 9:00 a.m. on the 15th and the end of the month:

→ The new amount will be reflected in the payment to the property management company on the 25th of the following month.
Example: Change made on June 20 → Reflected in the July 25 transfer.

Danger
  • In case of insufficient payment
    If the paid amount is less than required, the difference must be transferred directly to the property management company by the user.
    Please note that this cannot be handled through RentEase.
  • In case of overpayment
    If the paid amount is more than required, a refund request must be made to the property management company after the payment has been processed.
    Please note that this also cannot be handled through RentEase.
