RentEase does not offer an option to deactivate accounts. However, you can stop payments by either "Canceling the Subscription" or "Deactivating the RentEase Lease Agreement."
How to Stop the Subscription
1. Log in to the RentEase app.
2. On the home screen, tap the arrow next to the RentEase Lease Agreement for which you want to stop the payment.
※You can also access the agreement by selecting "RentEase Lease Agreement" on the home screen and then tapping "View All."
3. On the confirmation screen that appears, review the details and tap Stop Subscription.
4. On the next confirmation screen, review the content again and tap Confirm to complete the process.
How to Invalidate the RentEase Lease Agreement
1. Log in to the RentEase app.
2. On the home screen, tap the arrow next to the RentEase Lease Agreement you wish to deactivate.
3. On the screen that appears, tap Invalidate.
4. Review the content on the confirmation screen, then tap Confirm to complete the process.

What Happens to Rent Payments After Cancellation or invalidation?
After stopping or invalidating your RentEase subscription, rent payments will no longer be transferred to the property management company through RentEase. Therefore, you will need to make payments directly to the property management company or landlord yourself.
